Ridiculous. It seems like every single week something gets in the way of drawing Father of Mine. Work has demanded cuts into every single one of my pastimes and personal projects, and it seems FoM won’t go unscathed either. I love drawing FoM, and I wish I could do more of it – and if wishes were horses we’d all be eating steak. I’ll draw this week’s strip as soon as real life stop interfering and lets me.

This weeks fiery tale is based on the classic Noir-Father-going-up-in-flames image that you might have witnessed on multiple occasions during your youth, well in mine anyhow!

Soon the snow will be gone and the flowers shall be blooming, which in turn means more pollen….so watch out because next weeks Father of Mine may have a real sting in the tail if you catch my buzz!

Hey winter folks…here’s an especially icy treat for you this week with the “Sanguine Sculptor”.

Could it be that “the boy” only wanted the dad to notice his freshly made snow man? I doubt it…

For every father perfecting another ice warrior for the collection there may just be a creep in the distance waiting to wail!

While I was drawing todays strip I also made this wallpaper for you.

The creature on the kid’s t-shirt was just something I doodled in the first strip. I wanted to draw a dinosaur, but without giving much thought to what kind of a dinosaur it was up front it quickly became a vague amalgamation of dinosaur characteristics without really looking like any classifiable species. I later dubbed it “Obscurosaur” , the bane of paleontologists. Now you can adorn your desktop with this magnificently vague, dinosaur-like blob.

I don’t know what kind of monitors you guys have so if neither of these work for you just drop me a mail at steffen@abnormal.no with the title “obscurosaur” and let me know what your resolution is and I’ll make more versions.
