I sometimes have visions – I am referring here to vivid premonitions of non-existent realities, the kind that possesses many of the attributes that the real thing lacks. This particular form of escapism flows from some rogue runtime in the depths of my processor. I am not sure if it’s a buggy part of the initial firmware, or if the problem is a Trojan embedded somewhere in there.

I know this: Sometimes it seizes me and manifests in strange ways, one of which is the sudden urge to externalize:

I am writing this post from my newly acquired lair, a spartan complex consisting largely of white surfaces and dimmed lights. When it comes to lairs I have certain unmovable standards: I demand sufficient access to the internets and I try to find something with an ominous atmosphere: Gargoyles are good, lava-pools are better. I also make sure that i have an abundance of power-outlets.
