Most of the time when I’m working on a project or a job I’ll have another canvas open in Photoshop. I’ll jump between the two, working on the unrelated one every now and then to keep the images from going stale and to keep myself from going crazy. Sometimes I’ll even jump between two projects. It’s the same basic concept as painting several images on one canvas.

Here’s something I made yesterday while herding words together for a typography class.

I actually ended up incorporating this into the assignment. Unsurprisingly, “Dark” and “dismal” are words that were used to describe it.
